Frequently Asked Questions
How do boatlifts work?
The High And Dry boatlift works by flooding two pontoons with water to lower the lift. To raise the lift water is displaced inside the pontoon by an air blower and so raising the lift and boat. Click Here to Download Full Description
How much weight can it lift?
The boatlift has a specified lifting capacity for each lift model. The production models varies from 2000kg to 12000kg. Custom lifts can be built on demand.
How easy is it to install?
High And Dry is the easiest of boat lifts to install. A trained Boatlift technician can launch, assemble and install a lift within 2 to 3 hours. The boatlift can be launched from any suitable boat trailer on a slipway and then assembled on the water.
How long does it take to lift a boat out of the water?
The time to lift varies with the size of Boatlift. Anywhere from 3 minutes to 8 minutes.
What material is it made of?
High And Dry boatlifts are made of fiberglass which makes it easy to repair or refurbish to give an almost unlimited lifespan or high resale value.
What makes your boatlift better than other products?
What make the High And Dry unique is its patented syphoning system. The lift has no holes directly into the pontoons under the water so it cannot leak. It also has no moving parts or valves which minimizes maintenance and wear. A fiberglass lift is easy to refurbish giving it a higher resale value than plastic or metal lifts.
Is there a warranty?
There is a 5 year warranty on the pontoons and 2 years on the air pump station.
How do I get my boat onto and off of the lift?
To get your boat off the lift is lowered by flooding the pontoons with the suction side of the air blowers. To raise your boat the air blowers blows air into the pontoons hence displacing the water and raising the lift and boat.
